Vehicle Cross-overs / Drop or Dropped Kerb

Where a garage or car parking space is being created that needs access across a pavement, a drop kerb is essential.

Drop Kerbs are also used to ease road crossing for prams and wheel chairs and can normally be seen at road junctions in town.

Vehical cross-overs or Drop kerbs may only be installed with permission from your local planning office.
